I have had my Albert Stand and Frame since late 2021. I love it more than ever. It makes stitching a large full coverage cross stitch piece a dream. The tension is beautifully tight. The only thing I had to "fix" over the years was the tension got a bit loose, but with the help of customer support, I only had to re-tighten one of the screws and it was good as new. This was one of the best purchases I have ever made to support a "crafting" habit and without it I think I might have given up cross stitching full coverage pieces long ago due to the frustration of not having a frame that made it so easy to do. It is so worth it!

I recently purchased 'Albert' as an upgrade from a different brand. The frame itself is very heavy duty and if not being kept in one place would definitely benefit from caster's. You can flip the frame forward to access the rear, or alternatively use the electric option. The quality of the paint on the frame leaves a lot to be desired considering it's price, and probably would have benefited from a powder coating. I purchased the swing away which even though I'm not using it as designed, gives the frame a bit more versatility when working at the sofa as I do. An expensive but solid investment.

I’m really happy with the purchase; both the frame and the stand are great – very stable and sturdy. The swing-away system works perfectly. The whole system is easy to assemble and use, and the Albert frame is fantastic. I’ve finally been able to use my 1-metre-long rods with ease and comfort. However, the grey paint finish isn’t very good; it scratches and peels off the metal very easily, and doesn’t feel very durable. I would have preferred it if that part had been finished to a higher standard.
Another thing that came as an unpleasant surprise was that at no point during the process was I informed that taxes and customs duties would be charged separately from the total purchase price. The checkout page itself should indicate that the price will increase, so that customers can know in advance the actual price of the product.
In any case, I’m happy with my purchase and have no regrets. It’s great that it’s made entirely of metal and that you can attach magnetic accessories to it. The tension it provides is unbeatable, not to mention the convenience of not having to take the rods apart every time you need to move your project. I hope the paint doesn’t wear off much more and that the motor lasts a long time.

It is incredible easy set up. Easy to adjust!

I have cross stitched for 45+ years and this has made working on projects so much nicer. No more fighting with hoops for stands. Thanks
